Conference Workshop Submission Information

 

2017 Written In The Stars Conference

Conference Dates for 2017:  March 3 & 4

The Written In The Stars Conference is targeted to attract writers at all stages of their writing career – from the novice to the multi-published.  We work hard to provide a friendly, supportive and fun environment while at the same time offering top-notch workshops for all attendees. We deliberately cap our registration at 100 in order to provide our attendees with uncrowded workshop rooms and better networking opportunities.

The conference normally runs two tracks on Friday evening and two-three tracks during the day on Saturday, so we will be looking to fill a number of slots.  We strive to feature a well-rounded program so feel free to pitch any topic that would be relevant to writers:  craft, career, writing life, marketing, etc.

Those selected to speak will be compensated as follows:

  • Conference fee waived (includes cost of conference-provided meals)
  • One night’s lodging at the conference hotel paid for by the chapter
  • An opportunity for enhanced networking opportunities with Industry Professionals and other speakers in attendance

 

To submit an application, please retrieve the  SPEAKER APPLICATION FORM, save it to your computer, fill it out and email as an attachment to: conf-chair@nolastars.com

If submitting multiple proposals, please fill out a separate form for each.

Workshop Proposals must be received by October 03, 2016
