The NOLA STARs chapter of RWA® offers numerous opportunities for members to connect, learn, network and promote themselves. We’d love to have you join us for any or all of the following events!
The group holds regular meetings at the University Center at LSUS in Shreveport on the second Saturday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Visitors are welcome to attend two meetings for free before deciding to become members.
Check out our HOME page for specific details on upcoming meetings and directions.
The meeting format is as follows:
• 10:00 – 10:50 General Meeting – discussion of chapter business, announcements and member news
• 11:00 – noon Program – Speakers present workshops on topics of interest to writers, including craft, career and industry
Attendees can take advantage of breaks to socialize, meet visitors and sample member-provided snacks. Many members get together after the meeting to eat lunch at a nearby restaurant. All attendees are welcome to join us.
