Having a Submission-worthy Opening:
It’s important to be able to grab the interest of the reader right from the get-go and in this interactive session we’re going to discuss ways to do that. Bring your first five pages and a simple one-paragraph blurb that tells what your story is about. We’re going to go over some important elements of the first five pages, talk about how to tighten and inject emotion/hooks into your opening, and about ways we can change YOUR manuscript to make it shine.
