Written in the Stars Writing Retreat and Scrawl Crawl

Saturday, March 9th – 8:30 am at LSUS – 5:00pm (TBA)

Join us for a day long commitment to creating and writing YOUR book.

The day will be divided into two parts. In the morning we will start with coffee and donuts and then divide into brainstorming groups to plot your next book (or help with plot points on your current WIP.) After brainstorming and plotting, we will have our awards luncheon at a local restaurant. Then we will start our scrawl crawl.

For this part of the afternoon there will be fun prizes and you’ll write in inspirational spots around Shreveport (limited area). A team member will conduct timed writing sprints. We’ll conclude the day at a local restaurant where we’ll have dessert and coffee. There will be NO cost to Nola members for this event, but you must register. (Members who register but don’t attend will be responsible for a $30 payment to cover unused meal and prizes) Non-members are welcome to attend. Cost for non-members is $40.
